Networking & Lightning Talk Challenge
As in previous editions, on Wednesday, October 28th, we'll kick things off with our legendary networking event at a venue in Torremolinos (to be announced soon).Come to meet other attendees, speakers, organisers and friends of the event.
You don't need a ticket for the Yay-Yay Conf to join this social networking event. Everyone is welcome.
You can come as:
🔹 Attendee: Grab a drink, meet fellow nerds, and enjoy the chaos from the audience.
🔹 Challenger: Take the mic and get your moment in the spotlight.
Got a rejected CFP?, a cursed technical opinion?, or an absurd story from production? a completely unhinged idea? This is your moment to shine and get recognized.
Challenge Rules
- Talks must be fun, entertaining, or gloriously ridiculous.
- Duration: 5 or 8 minutes.
- At minute 4, the audience decides your fate:
- 👍 Continue for 4 more minutes
- ✂️ Or get dramatically cut off at minute 5
The winner will become an official speaker at the Yay-Yay Conf, getting free access to the event and the chance to deliver a 10-minute talk in one of the conference rooms.

At the end of the session we'll announce the lucky winner, who will get a free ticket for the rest of the Yay-Yay Conf and the chance to give a 10 minute talk on the subject of their choice in one of the tracks at the Yay-Yay Conf!

Tech Quiz & Karaoke
On Thursday, October 29th, all attendees are invited to our chaotic and beautiful Tech Quiz & Karaoke Night at a venue in Torremolinos (to be announced soon).The activity will start at 20:30h, right after the first conference day ends.
Expect: 🍻 Beers, 🤓 Nerdy competition,🎤 Questionable singing skills,🕺 New tech-friends, 🔥 Absolute Yay-Yay chaos
The Tech Quiz will test your knowledge about distributed systems, frontend, UX, AI, functional programming, DevOps, obscure internet culture and probably a bunch of completely unnecessary things.
And yes… there will be juicy prizes.
As for Karaoke: you don’t need to be a professional singer to join.
Actually, after a couple of beers, everyone becomes one.
The Karaoke winner will get a free ticket for the next edition of the Yay-Yay Conf ⚡

Halloween Closing Party
On our final night, we're throwing a completely unhinged Halloween Farewell Party to celebrate the end of the Yay-Yay Conf in the only way we should do: with costumes, music, dancing, milkshakes, beers, and absolute chaos.Expect: 🎃 Halloween vibes everywhere, 👻 Developers dressed as cursed production bugs, 🍻 Drinks and questionable decisions,🕺 Dancing until your social battery dies, 🔥 Pure Yay-Yay energy
And YES: EVERYONE MUST COME IN COSTUME.
Whether you arrive as a vampire, a Kubernetes cluster, an AI overlord, a functional programming wizard, or the scariest thing imaginable… a product manager...this is your moment.
The party will feature live music, DJs, dancing, weird conversations, networking, and the kind of memories that should probably never reach LinkedIn.
And of course…
