Flying to Jerez (Cadiz)

Cadiz' international airport is located in the nearby city Jerez de la Frontera (airport reference is XRY). The airport is connected to the city of Cádiz in different ways:

  • Train: Renfe local Mid-Distance train line C-1 (1h aprox). Prices from €6,25.
  • Bus: From Jerez airport to Cadiz, take the Intercity M-050 bus via Jerez de la Frontera and joining towns (1 hour 15 mins aprox). Prices from €3,90.
  • Taxi: You will find taxis just outside the airport terminal; this is the fastest yet the most expensive way of reaching cadiz (€60 aprox).

Flying to Seville

Another way to get to Cadiz is via Seville. Seville's airport connects Andalucía to the main European cities with direct and cheap connections. If your city has better connections with Seville than Jerez, you can book the flight to Seville and then reach Cadiz:

  • Train: Direct connections from Seville's main train station Santa Justa. You can check on the official railway website Renfe.com (90mins; prices from €8). There is a shuttle service between the airport and the train station (Linea EA: 30mins; €5).
  • Bus/Shuttle: There isn’t a direct bus line linking Seville Airport to Cadiz. You should take the shuttle service between the airport and the bus station, Plaza Prado de San Sebastian (Linea EA: 30mins; €5), and then a Comes bus to Cadiz Bus Station (1h 45mins; prices from €15).
  • Taxi: You will find taxis just outside the airport terminal; this is the fastest yet the most expensive way of reaching Cadiz (from €80).

By Train

Cadiz' train station, located just off Plaza de Sevilla, connects Cadiz with the main Spanish cities through direct long-distance trains (Madrid, Barcelona, Seville and Cordoba), as well as its nearby towns like El Puerto de Santa Maria and Jerez de la Frontera. You can check all options available on Renfe.com, the official Spanish railway's website.
